Related to the Leopard Buddy through a distant ancestor, the Lion Buddy can be found in deep tunnels beneath the Asilon Prairies . The only tunneling feline known to exist in Medenia, it spends most of it's time sleeping and eating in the dark. Lion Buddies are born completely white and stay as such for their duration underground but turn a striking golden hue upon exposure to sunlight.
Procurers of this beast must travel deep underground on dangerous missions, so it is discouraged to take it upon oneself to capture them personally.
